'Murder Mystery Dinner Theater' on October 24 at The Center at Maple Grove

Queens (NY) - On Saturday, October 24, the Center at Maple Grove Cemetery will host its annual "Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. This is the third installment of the hugely popular series.

This year, the theme will concern the Civil War, since this year is the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War. Former Civil War Veterans at Maple Grove have decided to hold a reunion and relive the glory of victory.

There will be a number of historical figures including a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor, a soldier who was on guard duty at Ford’s Theater during the night of the assassination, a surgeon whose probe removed the bullet from President Lincoln’s head, the wife of a noted Civil War Photographer to name a few.

In the midst of the festivities a foul murder is committed and the audience must help to put the clues together to find the perpetrator.

The event will be hosted by The Friends of Maple Grove, who urge you to purchase tickets as soon as possible because seating is very limited.
